Exhibition Summary

The Shibaura Machine Group will be participating in the Japan Die Casting Congress & Exposition 2022, under the theme of "Carbon Neutral Initiatives in Die Casting Plants", with two concepts.

The concepts are; "Proposal for die casting production system contributes to Reducing Environmental Impact and Improved Productivity", and "Introduction of thin-wall parts casting technology required for EVs and Light Weight Casting parts."

The exhibition will be held at Pacifico Yokohama for three days from November 10 (Thu.) to November 12 (Sat.). We look forward to seeing you there.

• 【Models to be exhibited】 The new die casting machine "DC400R2-EM"
  Under new 3S, proudly introducing the new die casting machine DC400R2-EM, equipped with electric die locking system and the new total control system TOSCAST-999.
  
  
• Introducing a system enables maintenance and monitoring of equipment performance to improve productivity and reduce environmental impact　
  With the new TOSCAST-999 controller and the dPAQET2 production monitoring system, we offer ancillary equipment that has machine performance, monitoring equipment, and services which capable of achieving numerical targets for improved productivity and reduced environmental impact and maintaining stable numerical targets. Also, in our show will provide demonstrations, presentations, and computer graphics showing our proposal solutions for greater environmental friendliness, namely, "Cycle Saving by Electric Hybrid system of Core and Ejector", and "Reduction of Electricity Usage by reducing volume of hydraulic oil required for ACC filling."
  
• Introducing thin-wall parts casting required for EVs and Light Weight Automobiles
  We are offering onsite presentations and computer graphics of systems aimed at downsizing and improving product quality through technology to stabilize metal pressure to the tip of the product.
  
• Co-Exhibitor: Functional Fluids Corporation
  Key to the better quality. This system helps to stabilize mold cooling temperatures to maximize the performance of molds.
