Multi-layer technology

Shibaura Machine Co., Ltd. started practical tests in the latter half of the 1950s and has delivered a number of T-die multi-layer sheet and film manufacturing equipment. Making full use of high-precision machining technology, we have a track record of up to 6 types and 11 layers in the feed block method and 4 types and 4 layers in the multi-manifold method.

FEED BLOCK METHOD

Combined with the single-layer T-die, the number of layers can be increased easily in the feed block. Also, the cost can be reduced.

MULTI-MANIFOLD METHOD

With increase in the number of layers, the die structure and profile become more complicated, butthickness accuracy of each layer enhances.
